Welcome to Brain, Body, Mind, Memory for healthy proactive longevity.


My name is Nérine Paolini-Del’Cognito. I am half French and half Italian (with Sicilian roots, my son insisted I should write this down) I live in London with my son and dog.

As a child I grew up in a very tense and tumultuous environment. Due to this situation at a very early age, I started to look at various holistic approaches to enable me to manage stress and maintain spiritual, emotional and physical wellness. Thus, it is a subject very close to my heart. I became very interested in movements that were connected to the mind and breathing, this lead me to gain numerous qualifications in the Pilates field as well as specializing in back/postural problems. I studied proven scientific methods such as applied neuroscience, neuropsychology, imagery and visualization.

I have been extremely interested in memory retention techniques, in the last few years. I am also a fully qualified Linguist/ Teacher/Interpreter. My languages are French, Italian, English and Russian. Being an Interpreter not only requires an excellent knowledge of the source and target language but also a powerful memory, high level of concentration, self-confidence and strong ability to perform under extremely stressful conditions. However, one doesn’t need to be an Interpreter to experience the benefits of a robust memory.

I am concerned about the inverted pyramid of ages and turbulence (including economic) that societies are facing today. This concern together with my training and my life experience have led me to look closer at the aging population and contribute to this community.


People are living longer, however more should be done. According to World Health Organization data, the under 24 population is decreasing by 15%, data by OECD demonstrate that cognitive abilities decline with age. The decay begins around the age of 30 and accelerates after the age of 50. Older people are living longer and many have deterioration of brain function. This causes a progressive weakening of concentration, memory and mental flexibility. What a dilemma? The younger generation is decreasing, the older generation is increasing and living longer with more mental illnesses. What can we do to help ourselves? According to the international data base, countries who have an inverted pyramid will be/are in crisis. My concern is to look at increasing productivity and pro activity by looking after ones’ self.

I feel that it is our duty and responsibility to grow older healthy, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Today research in neuroscience show that it is possible to prevent the deterioration of intellectual faculties.

The purpose of this site is to raise awareness, share tips, give advice, demonstration, look into research to promote BBMM healthy longevity, in the areas of emotional, mental , spiritual  and physical wellness.
